Located in the Noordhoek Farm Village, Foodbarn has been serving the people of Cape Town with delicious and delightful food since 2006. The Foodbarn Deli and Restaurant is a product of the founders Franck Dangereux and Pete de Bruin’s passion for food. It has a traditional European deli atmosphere which is quite unique in Cape Town.
The Foodbarn Deli is known as “Deli by Day and Tapas by Night.” During the day the deli offers freshly baked goods and pastries, fresh fruit and vegetables, home-cooked meals for lunch or dinner, and wine to the locals and tourists. At night it’s turns into a delightful tapas bar, serving mouth-watering dishes to the patrons. The tapas at the deli is probably one of Cape Town’s best-kept secrets.
The restaurant serves delicious and decadent casual fine-dining in a relaxed and characterful old barn. The food is prepared with love and experience, characterized by natural taste, smells, and textures. The Foodbarn Restaurant can cater for private functions of 30 to 120 people.
