Is there alcohol included on the tour?
You will be enjoying a minimum of two alcohol tastings on each tour type.
What should I bring along?
Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and good walking shoes. The weather in Cape Town is notoriously fickle, so be prepared for anything. Even in the high summer a cool wind can pick up. And even in winter, you still need sunscreen against the potent African sun. Bring along a small bottle of water.
If I do not eat red meat/meat how does this influence my tour?
Taking out red meat or cheese from the tour will change it, but the Cape Town Culinary Tours team will make a plan to still offer an enjoyable experience to vegetarians and non-meat eaters. One of the stops on the tours does include a butchery, if you want to rather request skipping it, please advise the tour guide beforehand.
Is there parking available?
Most of the Cape Town city centre operates on paid street parking, which can become pricey for an extended period of time. It’s best to rather use local transport such as Uber, Taxify or the MyCiti bus.
