This year sees the return of a much-loved celebration at Grande Provence! For the first time since 2019, the estate will host its Harvest Festival, an intimate, hands-on experience that invites guests to step into the rhythm of harvest & be part of the story behind the vintage! From mid-morning, a limited group will enjoy grape picking and stomping, guided wine tasting & blending, and the joyful energy of harvest in the vineyards! The experience concludes with a generous harvest table lunch, designed to be shared, savoured & enjoyed in good company!

Celebrate the 2026 harvest at Durbanville Hills in February & March: Blend your own wine & experience the journey from vine to wine! Guests are invited to gather at Durbanville Hills for their harvest tour, welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine to celebrate the occasion! From the very first sip, the journey begins!

The event starts with a Cellar Tour – wandering through the space with the Durbanville Hills team, you become part of the winemaking story; the cool-climate grapes, the meticulous decisions & the hands that guide every step. Then comes a moment that ALWAYS delights both first-timers & seasoned wine lovers: a grape must tasting straight from the source! Sweet, vibrant & in the middle of its transformation, it’s a rare glimpse into wine’s earliest chapter – this is undoubtedly any wine lover’s dream & an experience you absolutely do not want to miss!

As the experience unfolds, guests gather around to blend their own wine – adjusting, tasting & refining until you create a wine blend that feels entirely yours!The bottle you seal & take home becomes more than wine; it becomes a memory captured in glass!

Just when you think you know what comes next, this year’s harvest experience adds something unexpected – An interactive moment woven into the journey, so that you truly feel like a wine maker but also experience the playfulness! It’s a surprise best discovered in person, a small celebration of how harvest is as much about joy as it is about craft!
