The steps are often concealed by the buses that are parked in the area. So keep your eyes open for them. Once you spot it, follow the path as it will lead you straight to the Contour Path. Although it is quite steep, the path contains a well-constructed step section that is situated directly under the cables of the cableway. Walking up to the Contour Path will take you between 15 – 20 minutes. Thereby providing you with a good warm-up to conquer the rest of the India Venster Table Mountain climb.
When you reach the Contour Path, you will see a green sign pointing to both your left and to your right. The route officially starts behind that sign post up the mountain.
