Here’s how it works – Collect a picnic basket from the Cape Wheel (1 basket per 2 people) and fill it with delicious goodies, snacks & treats from the V&A Food Market or any of your favourite stores. They will set up a table in your gondola and extend your ride to double the length (30 minutes) to give you enough time to sit back, relax, snack and soak up the spectacular views with your special Valentine right beside you. Is there anything more romantic than that?

Ticket prices (the price of the ticket does not include your food):

In addition to the Cape Wheel’s Picnic in the Sky, they have put together another two spectacular packages and experiences to be enjoyed by you this Valentine’s Day. The Cape Wheel’s Table Package includes a cabin made up with a table and tablecloth, red and white balloons, candlelight, chocolates, flowers, and complimentary alcoholic or non-alcoholic options. The Table Package is R1500 per cabin (can accommodate up to 6 people per cabin) and must be booked and paid for in advance. Rides are 30 minutes long.

The Cape Wheel VIP Package includes a complimentary bottle of alcoholic or non-alcoholic sparkling options, a bunch of roses, a snack platter, a complimentary photo pack, Lindt chocolates, and the VIP Lounge Area to be dressed up with rose petals. The VIP Package is R2500 per cabin and the rides are 30 minutes long.
