But in the Mother City, we not only love and celebrate our marine life, we consider them an integral part of our local crew. So much so that spotting a Cape Fur Seal chilling on the Waterfront pier, an African Penguin strolling around on the beach or watching a dolphin doing some cool flips from the beachfront is considered a completely normal part of our day. And we love every incredible second of it!

In Cape Town, we refer to these beloved ocean locals as the Marine Big 5. Which includes the Cape Fur Seals, African Penguins, Whales, Dolphins and Mola Mola Sunfish. But, besides merely observing the Mother City’s amazing marine life from the shoreline, we take it a step further by enjoying thrilling adventures and experiences with them by our side.
